How To Add And Verify Your Phone Number And Email Address On Facebook (Step-by-step Guide)

This is a step-by-step guide to Adding and Verifying Your Phone Number and Email in 6 quick steps:

1. Open Facebook:

Log in to your Facebook account using your username and password.

2. Access Settings:

Click on the downward-facing(where your profile image is) arrow located in the top-right corner of the Facebook homepage to access the dropdown menu. From the menu, select “Settings & Privacy,” then click on “Settings.”

3. Navigate to Meta Account Center:

At the very top, you would see, META Account Centre, click or tap on this area, the account center opens up. Select “Personal Details” under the Account Settings section. When this opens up, select “Contact Info“

4. Add Phone Number:

Under the “Contact info” section, you’ll find an options for both your email and phone number amd at the bottom an “Add new contact” button. Click on it if you don’t have either of this.

5. Enter Your Phone Number/Email:

A dialog box will appear where you can enter your phone number, including your country code. If you have connected more than one META Apps to your account , you would need to select the account that you want to associate the contact with and then click “Next“.

6. Verify Your Phone Number/Email:

Facebook will send a verification code to the phone number or email you provided. Enter the code in the prompt on Facebook to verify your phone number. Once successfully verified, you will see the contact details appear in the contact information section in the account center.
